**The Position**

**The Position**

You will lead a multidisciplinary team of mine action and humanitarian professionals and ensure staff welfare, security management, and a safe supportive working environment.
You will provide strategic and operational leadership of DCA’s humanitarian and mine action portfolio, ensuring high-quality, accountable, and compliant implementation of and coherence between humanitarian and mine action interventions.
The position is based in Beirut with regular travel within Lebanon.
**The DCA Lebanon Country Programme**
DCA’s Lebanon programme focuses on saving lives and reducing risks from landmines and explosive remnants of war, while contributing to broader humanitarian and resilience-building efforts for vulnerable communities and local civil society.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide overall strategic, programmatic, and operational leadership of the DCA Lebanon country programme
- Lead, mentor, and develop national and international staff and promote a strong culture of cooperation including on safety, performance, and accountability
- Represent DCA towards partners, donors, national authorities, UN agencies, and in relevant coordination mechanisms
- Lead fundraising, donor relations, programme development, and ensure sound financial and operational management
**Qualifications and Experience**
- 5 years’ senior leadership experience at Country Director level or in a comparable position within humanitarian operations and mine action
- Proven experience in fundraising, networking and donor liaison, including identifying and cultivating funding opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with donors and key stakeholders, and representing the organisation in donor dialogues, meetings, and relevant coordination fora
- Demonstrated ability to lead safety-critical operations and develop high-performing teams with a focus on good cooperation in a culturally diverse environment.
- Solid knowledge of financial, administrative, logistical, and operational management in complex contexts
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Experience in humanitarian mine action programme management is an advantage
- Scandinavian language skills as well as knowledge of Arabic and/or experience from Lebanon, is an advantage
