Description

We are looking for a motivated and structured Grants Expert to support our fundraising efforts remotely. You will research grants and funding opportunities, write proposals, engage with corporate and philanthropic donors, and maintain relationships with existing supporters.

This role is key to sustaining Habibi.Works’ independence from government and EU funding, while strengthening our long-term financial stability.

We are looking for a motivated and structured Grants Expert to support our fundraising efforts remotely. You will research grants and funding opportunities, write proposals, engage with corporate and philanthropic donors, and maintain relationships with existing supporters.

This role is key to sustaining Habibi.Works’ independence from government and EU funding, while strengthening our long-term financial stability.

**Key Responsibilities**

- Research and identify grant and fundraising opportunities
- Write proposals for open calls
- Engage potential corporate and philanthropic donors
- Maintain relationships with existing donors and supporters
- Run campaigns to expand our monthly donor base
- Communicate regularly with the on-site team, board, and founder

**Profile**

- EU citizenship required
- Resident in Germany or Greece, or able to invoice as a freelancer
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Experience in fundraising, grant writing, or corporate donor engagement
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Minimum age: 25
