**BROAD STATEMENT OF FUNCTION**
1. Support the Preparedness and Response Manager in the areas of project management;
2. Carry out any other assignments as tasked by his/her supervisors.
**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES**
1. **Provide support to project activities**
a. Facilitate the conduct of events, such as workshops, training sessions, and meetings, concerning project implementation.
b. Lead the creation of project publications and promotional materials to reach wider stakeholders, in close coordination with the AHA Centre Communications and in accordance with the AHA Centre and other relevant guidelines.
c. Prepare the project’s updates/progress and develop project reports for relevant meetings and stakeholders based on the AHA Centre and other relevant guidelines.
d. Maintain communication linkages and rapport with peer-level officers in the AHA Centre.
2. **Carry out any other assignments as tasked by the Preparedness and Response Manager**
a. Carry out any other assignments as tasked by the Preparedness and Response Manager or Assistant Director for Preparedness and Response.
b. Adhere to all aspects of corporate affairs within the organisation, such as finance,
c. Administration, human resources, and legal, as well as programme development and management, communications, and M&E, and contribute to emergency operations as required.
d. Contribute to emergency response as required.
e. Contribute to the AHA Centre’s collective efforts by accomplishing related duties as needed.
3. **Comply with the AHA Centre’s Rules and Regulations**
a. Conduct him/herself according to the AHA Centre’s vision, mission, values, and policies.
b. Adhere to all aspects of corporate affairs within the organisation, such as finance, administration, human resources, and legal, as well as programme development and management, communications, and M&E, and contribute to emergency operations as required.
**JOB QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS**
***Education***
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably Master’s, in Project Management, International Development, Social Science, Public Administration, or related disciplines.
***Experience***
- At least five (5) years of work experience with a proven track record and exposure to capacity development or professional development programmes.
- Exposure working in disaster management and emergency response operations in government or international organisations.
- Experience in managing a broad range of activities dealing with various international organisations and related institutions.
- Experience in managing/supervising training in disaster management.
- Knowledge of ASEAN and its regional frameworks in disaster management, such as the ASEAN Agreement on Disaster Management and Emergency Response (AADMER), will be an advantage.
- Strong command of the English language, both spoken and written.
