**Project/Assignment Title: Team Building Facilitator for CARE Ukraine Staff**

**Location: Western Ukraine**

**BACKGROUND**

Representative Office of CARE Deutschland e.V. in Ukraine operates in a demanding humanitarian environment where staff work across functions and locations under pressure. CARE Ukraine therefore plans to organize a three-day internal team building event and seeks an experienced facilitator to assess team dynamics and design and deliver a tailored team-building programme for approximately 50 staff members.

**OBJECTIVE**

The assignment is to assess team dynamics, communication patterns and collaboration challenges; develop a customized and assessment-based programme; and facilitate a three-day team-building event that strengthens trust, cooperation, psychological safety and cross-team collaboration.

**SCOPE OF WORK**

1\. Conduct a pre-event assessment 2–3 weeks before the event through interviews, discussions, surveys and/or review of organizational context.

2\. Submit a short assessment summary identifying key themes and proposed focus areas before finalizing the agenda.

3\. Design a tailored three-day agenda with clear objectives, interactive activities, experiential learning methods, and structured reflection/debrief sessions.

4\. Facilitate the full three-day programme in English, ensuring active participation, inclusion and a safe learning environment.

5\. Submit a brief post-event summary with sessions delivered, observations, key themes and practical follow-up recommendations.

**QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS**

1\. Minimum 3 years of proven experience in professional team-building facilitation.

2\. Strong expertise in organizational development, group dynamics, conflict resolution, communication and trust-building.

3\. Experience in conducting organizational or team assessments and developing customized programmes.

4\. Excellent facilitation skills in English; Ukrainian is an asset.

5\. Experience with NGOs, international organizations or humanitarian settings is preferred.

**TIMEFRAME AND FINANCIAL CONDITIONS**

The pre-assessment will take place 2–3 weeks before the event. The event duration is three full days in Western Ukraine. Financial offers may be submitted in UAH or EUR. Payment will be made by bank transfer on a 100% post-payment basis after completion of services, submission of invoice and CARE’s acceptance of deliverables. Prices must include all applicable taxes, fees, insurance, travel, accommodation and related costs.
