A **Revision Steering Committee** will be formed to provide governance support and strategic guidance for the Sphere Handbook Revision. The Committee will report to the **Sphere Governing Board** and play a central role in shaping the revision, including:

- Guiding the scope of the Revision to meet stakeholder needs
- Providing strategic advice to those directly involved in the Revision
- Recommending actions on issues with major implications
- Monitoring the overall direction and management of the Revision
- Reconciling differences of opinion and resolving disputes as they arise

We invite you to consider yourself or nominate individuals from your network who could contribute to this important process.

- Commitment to Sphere’s mission and principles
- Strategic and governance experience
- Relevant humanitarian expertise
- Stakeholder engagement and representation
- Active participation and commitment
- Oversight and project acumen
- Advocacy and ambassadorship
- Promoting diversity and balance

## Composition of the Steering Committee:

- Two Co-Chairs
- Sphere Focal Point
- Civil society, UN, ICRC/IFRC, and NGO representation
- One or two individuals from Technical Chapter or Thematic Working Groups
- Additional specialist representatives as needed (consultants, advisers, observers)
